Get a Grip is Magpie's HEMA-free rubber base layer, offering super adhesion with minimal lifting and chipping. It's a thicker formula than Magpie's standard base layer (All About The Base), giving extra protection to weak and brittle nails while covering unevenness in the natural nail.

With a single coat, Get a Grip works as a natural nail overlay or a base layer for builder gel, structure gel or acrygel — apply a second layer if a more structured manicure is needed.

How to Use

Prep the nail and scrub with Magpie Prep & Dehydrate. Apply a thin layer to the nail and cure for 60 seconds in an LED lamp. Apply a second layer for extra structure and support if required. Get a Grip can be used alone, or other Magpie systems (Give Me Strength, Build Me Up, Perfect Poly Acrygel) can be applied straight onto the tacky layer.

Top Tips

• To remove Get a Grip alone, file the top to break the surface, then soak. If removing it alongside an enhancement product layered on top, file down to a thin layer close to the Get a Grip layer before soaking.
